Our Story

Thank you for visting PaPa's Amazing Chili Website. We hope you enjoy the story of PaPa's Amazing Chili.

This is the story of a family recipe spanning five generations beginning with my Great, Great Grandfather, Jessie M Jones (born 1835). Prepared and served today like years ago; for family, friends and all to enjoy. Take the time to explore the website and learn the story of Jessie M. Jones, I believe you will find it truly amazing.

Papa's Amazing Chili has been served for over 50 years as a local dish, but now with the advent of the modern freeze-dry process, PaPa's Amazing Chili is being brought to the market as Freeze Dried. The same great taste, the same great freshness but with the added convenience of storage, prep, and any-time eating.

Testimonials
Papa's Chili Label BG_edited.png

“I was given two packages of Papa's Amazing Chili in "original" and "original with kick".  I was skeptical that something freeze dried could taste fresh and appetizing.  After hearing from Terry, the founder, that his neighbor felt the same and was blown away, my interest was piqued.  Having tried both recipes I can say that I was also blown away.  The flavors, the texture, the ease... it was as good as homemade.  My family and I will be bringing the original with kick on our next week-long boating trip, where space to store food can be a commodity.  It just makes sense especially given the price per serving is less than we would pay eating out.”
